Emiliano Acciarito

Dipl.-Ing. (TH), Architekt Associate Director

Emiliano started his training at “La Sapienza” University of Rome and at the same time worked for a small practice specialising in refurbishment of historical buildings.

He was awarded a scholarship and completed his training at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH), Germany, whilst working for a practice that specialised in timber construction and residential developments.

In 2002 Emiliano joined tp bennett becoming an Associate in 2008. Since then has been in involved in a wide range of projects including residential and commercial schemes, the shortlisted competition entry for Thyssenkrup in Germany, as well as the fit-out for the Bank of Tokyo and The Cumberland Hotel in London.

More recently Emiliano has worked on a new environmentally sustainable headquarters building for Hanson Building Products in Bedfordshire.  Initially a member of the competition team he then had the role of Project  Architect responsible for detail design and the construction process until completion.  The project has subsequently been awards the 2011 Brick Award.

Emiliano is a member of tp bennett’s sustainability group and is passionate about sustainable design and innovative construction detailing, always trying to find solutions that are both functional and architecturally seductive.
