Founded in 1921 by Sir Thomas Bennett, today tp bennett LLP is led by a young, dynamic fourth generation of Directors who are passionately committed to design and providing a first-rate professional service tailored to our clients’ needs.

Our headquarters is located in Bankside, close to Tate Modern, within an Edwardian warehouse building that we converted to provide modern office space.

Our broad range of experience across many forms of development in both the public and private sectors gives us a special understanding of clients’ and occupiers’ needs. Following the example of our founder, the present Directors provide a well-managed and personally directed service that produces imaginative and cost-effective schemes.

The practice has divisions in architecture, interiors and planning with specialist disciplines in strategy, research and graphics.

The combined expertise of these specialist divisions and our broad range of experience across many forms of development in both the public and private sectors informs all our work through a rigorous system of internal design review and audit. In this way the knowledge and expertise of the wider practice is applied to all projects in an environment of collaborative design.

We have circa 160 permanent staff, drawn from a number of backgrounds and with a breadth of experience and expertise in a wide range of building types. We possess a wide range of skill sets and qualifications across disciplines, including architects, interior designers, town planners, urban designers, space planners, ergonomists, furniture designers, graphic designers and visualisation specialists.
